Symptoms

The users are unable to assign balancing segment values (BSV) to the Legal Entities in Accounting Setup Manager due to an error displayed on the page. While the page shows the error, the BSV remains assigned to the Legal Entity but the expected concurrent request program is not triggered to set all the relevant tables in sync (GLSTFL: General Ledger Accounting Setup Program).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. General Ledger (GL) responsibility > Accounting Setup Banager > Query for the Ledger
2. For the desired Legal Entity > Update Balancing Segment Values > Attempt to add a BSV
3. Get error on the page > Observe the BSV is assigned though but no program triggers
