PAXCPCAL: When Running the PRC: Interface Assets to Oracle Assets, Users Receive the Rejection 'Asset Is Not Adjustable'
(Doc ID 3075581.1)
Last updated on MARCH 11, 2025
Applies to:
Oracle Project Costing - Version 12.2.12 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Users receive 'Asset is not Adjustable' rejection when running PRC: Interface Assets to Oracle Assets. As the asset has been retired more than a year, the asset needs to be split and assigned to a new asset as it cannot be reinstated. The problem is that the split line is greyed out and does not appear to be assignable to a different asset. Per the Asset Capitalization OA Dashboard Doc ID 2442622.1 under "Actions on Asset Lines" section, marking the line 'Mark Original Line for Reinterface' does not work as the split is still greyed out and the lines can't be moved to a new asset.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Project Costing Super User
2. Other | Requests | Run
3. Run the PRC: Interface Assets to Oracle Assets and receive the rejection reason 'Asset is not Adjustable'.
