Symptoms
Attempting to run online accounting on a transaction with rules, an error occurs suggesting to run revenue recognition.
However after running revenue recognition, the transaction not gets picked up.
ERROR: APP-AR-96282: Error : The automatic generation of distributions for invoice <###> failed. you must run the Revenue Recognition separately and verify the distributions for that invoice before you can credit it.
STEPS:
Responsibility: Receivables Manager Responsibility
Navigation: Transactions -> Transactions -> Query transaction
1. Run online accounting for an invoice from transaction form.
2 the error message is seen in the transactions form
3. Attempt to run the Revenue Recognition program.
