Core HR is about to be implemented into a multi-org environment, with Financials.
There are 11 geographical countries, and will use 11 business groups.
Q1: How does Oracle manage the transfer of employees from one to the other. Can that person's service, as well as their assignment and salary history be maintained? What happens with the employee number also?
Q2: The intention is to upload 1300 existing employees for the first country. Can their current employee numbers be maintained? Can the employee numbering be set at manual for the upload, and then switch it to auto, so that from then on we use system generated numbers, starting from the highest number already entered.
