11i: Home Page Link Does Not Work From Knowledge Base Agent Responsibility (Doc ID 315490.1)

Symptoms

Cannot access Home page or any navigation menu from Knowledge Base Agent responsibility.
There is no Profile link available to change responsibility in the top right corner for this resp.
When selecting Home link, in order to change responsibility for the session, nothing happens.
No page opens up at all. There is no way to change responsibility after selecting the Knowledge Base Agent responsibility. Have to logout of application and in again to use another responsibility.
