Symptoms

When attempting to use the Lease Contract Open Interface for a serial controlled item the Interface is failing to successfully import the contract.

Lease Contract Open Interface does not create asset line if SERIAL_NUMBER is populated in OKL_LINES_INTERFACE for serial controlled Item. Interface successfully processes the Asset lines in OKL_LINES_INTERFACE table if serial number is not populated.

Case 1: Serial Controlled Item, SERIAL_NUMBER populated in OKL_LINES_INTERFACE and IMPORT_REQUEST_STAGE as BOOKED in OKL_HEADER_INTERFACE.
Result: Contract Imported successfully in PASSED status but Asset Line missing in the Contract.

Case 2: Serial Controlled Item, SERIAL_NUMBER not populated in OKL_LINES_INTERFACE and
IMPORT_REQUEST_STAGE as BOOKED in OKL_HEADER_INTERFACE.

Result: Contract Imported successfully in INCOMPLETE status. Asset line imported in the contract.
Received following QA error message in log,
Error Status: E
Data : The number of units for item <item_number> must have an equal number of serial number(s). Please enter a total of 1 serial number(s) for this item.  (ASSET_NUM=OKL6347)

Case 3: Item is not serial controlled, SERIAL_NUMBER not populated in OKL_LINES_INTERFACE and
IMPORT_REQUEST_STAGE as BOOKED in OKL_HEADER_INTERFACE.
Result: Contract Imported successfully in BOOKED status.

In cases 1 and 2 the contract is partially created and can be updated to add the information that was not imported successfully.
