Document Stuck in Pre-Approved Status with Reserve_Doc: Ora-20002: 3103: Attribute 'Document_id' Does Not Exist (Doc ID 332463.1)

Symptoms

Releases cannot be reserved if created against Planned Purchase Orders that were autocreated.
Scheduled releases against planned purchase orders in an encumbrance environment are getting stuck in pre-approved status.
This issue only happens when the planned PO line was created using autocreate.

Error Message : 3103: Attribute 'DOCUMENT_ID' does not exist for item 'POAPPRV/110278-554'.

STEPS

Responsibility: Purchasing
Navigation: Purchase Orders > Releases
1. Enter a 2-line Scheduled Release against a Planned PO.
2. Click Approve button.
3. Check Submit for Approval box and click OK button.
4. Menu Bar: Inquire > View Approval through Workflow.
5. Open Reserve Document Error
