Sales Order Cancelled After Pick Release Leaves Pending Move Transactions (Allocations) (Doc ID 338740.1)

This document is for all users of Oracle EBS 11i and R12 and later.

Symptoms

When a Sales Order line is picked and then canceled, it leaves an allocation / pending transaction in the pending transaction table MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP (MMTT).

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect to be able to cancel order and have move order allocations automatically canceled too.

STEPS
Release Sales Order for Shipment,
Prior to Transacting Move Order go to the Sales Order
Cancel the Line.
Line gets cancelled but leaves a Pending Transaction.
