Dff Based On Table Type Value Set Not Working In Sales Offline (Doc ID 338984.1)

Last updated on JULY 02, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Sales Offline - Version 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2 [Release 11.5.9 to 11.5.10]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You have setup a descriptive flexfield - (Party Information) - to use a valueset to obtain values for the LOV from a table based on a dependent segment. This is working correctly in Sales Online. However, in Sales Offline there are no values to select from the LOV.

The intended functionality is that user selects the value in "Market Segment"(based on a
independent value set), the next segment "Market SubSegment" Dynamically populates the values based on the value selected in the "Market Segment".
This functionality is working all right in the Sales Online, but the Market Subsegment does not show up in the Sales Offline.

Navigation:

Sales Online
Navigate to the Mobile Tab
Click on the Sales Offline Template Hyperlink
Download the zip file.
Open the zip file
Open the SalesOffline.xls file
Sync the application
Click on the customer tab in sales offline
Click on the create button
Click on the DFF
Click on the "Market Segment" segment
The "Market Sub Segment" does not show up any value.
