This document provides the steps to create an Asset from a normal (non appreciable) item that was received into a Project and is tracked in Enterprise Install Base a.k.a. Asset Tracking. The intention of this document is just to provide the steps of the flow and not to go through detailed setup steps. Nonetheless, some critical required setups are mentioned.

The process steps mentioned are the minimal steps that are required. It is possible within each module to use alternative methods (e.g. create a purchase order through requisitions instead of manually). Those alternatives have been left out of the scope of this document. Variations to the steps below can be looked at when the below process works.
