Additional Period of Serv DFF Fields Do Not Clear after Reverse Termination APP-PAY-07804 (Doc ID 341198.1)

Symptoms

On 11.5.10.2 in Production:
When attempting to reverse terminate an employee, it is observed that the segments in the
Additional Personal Details DFF are not cleared.
When clearing the segments on the DFF, the following error occurs:

APP-PAY-07804: Employee will not be terminated. You have not
entered an Actual Termination Date so the employee will not be terminated.
Choose OK if you want to save the information you have entered."

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
The issue has the following business impact.

ERROR
APP-PAY-07804: Employee will not be terminated. You have not
entered an Actual Termination Date so the employee will not be terminated.
Choose OK if you want to save the information you have entered."

STEPS
These additional steps must be done in order for us to continue with business:
1. Click on Additional Period of Service Details Descriptive Flexfield
2. Click on Clear button
3. Click on OK button
4. Save your work
5. Caution form (Message #APP-PAY-07804) will appear and click OK button
Note: This Caution form message does not accurately reflect what is happening
and says "APP-PAY-07804: Employee will not be terminated. You have not
entered an Actual Termination Date so the employee will not be terminated.
Choose OK if you want to save the information you have entered."

BUSINESS IMPACT
Due to this issue, users will now need to complete the above additional steps in order to
accurately reverse terminate an individual, whereas previously it was only
necessary to click on the Reverse Termination button. If these additional
steps are not completed, then there will be inaccurate data in these fields.
