Symptoms

A) Post Mass Additions is failing for records:

Book: BOOK
Request ID: ######
Error: Unable to get prorate date information
Cause: You have a database problem.
Action: Contact your system administrator.
Mass Addition ID: ### ==> ** FAILED **

OR

B) When running Post Mass Additions (FAMAPT), the following error occurs.

Error: function fa_massadd_pkg.do_mass_addition returned failure
Error: Unable to get prorate date information

Cause: You have a database problem.

Action: Contact your system administrator.

Error: function fa_asset_val_pvt.calc_prorate_date returned failure
Error: function fa_asset_calc_pvt.calc_fin_info returned failure
Error: function fa_addition_pub.do_addition returned failure
Getting Debug information
Corporate/Tax Book: c_t_book has the value of CORPORATE
fa_inv_pvt.invoice_engine: px_inv_tbl.count has the value of 1
fa_inv_pvt.invoice_engine: px_inv_rate_tbl.count has the value of 0
fa_inv_pvt.invoice_engine: px_inv_rate_tbl.count has the value of 0
fa_inv_pvt.invoice_engine: prior to loading payables info, trx_type has the value of MASS ADDITION
fa_inv_pvt.invoice_engine: prior to loading payables info, payables_cost has the value of 3200
Book: l_asset_hdr_rec.book_type_code has the value of CORPORATE
SOB: l_asset_hdr_rec.set_of_books_id has the value of 1
Mass Addition ID: XXXXX==> ** FAILED **
Error: function fa_massadd_pkg.do_mass_addition returned failure
