Trying to reset the Applications User password using FND_USER_PKG.UpdateUser API. The API resets the password OK but the user is not prompted to change their password the first attempt to log into Applications.
Calling the UpdateUser API (from SQL prompt) as follows:
Changing the password through the applications (Security > User > Define) prompts you to change your password the first time you login as expected.
