Goal
How can you setup Oracle Receivables so that it allows duplicate transaction numbers within the same transaction source?
Prior to 11i.AR.O, you could not purposely create duplicate transaction numbers within the same Transaction Source. If you attempt to create a transaction using a transaction number that already exists within the transaction source the followin error is raised:
APP-AR-11450: This Transaction Number already exists. Please select a different value
