Audit Trail Does Not Generate Audit Data For Fnd_profile_option_values Table (Doc ID 358148.1)

Symptoms

The customer is trying to activate audit trail on table FND_PROFILE_OPTION_VALUES.
After records are inserted, updated or deleted on this table, no audit data is
generated in the shadow table FND_PROFILE_OPTION_VALUES_A.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Using the System Administrator responsibility,
1. From the screen "Audit Tables", define audit columns for the table FND_PROFILE_OPTION_VALUES.
2. From the screen "Audit Groups", create a new audit group and include table
FND_PROFILE_OPTION_VALUES.
3. Submit the concurrent request "AuditTrail Update Tables".
4. From the screen "System Profile", query and existing profile and modify its value.
5. No record is inserted in the table FND_PROFILE_OPTION_VALUES_A.
The customer is trying to activate audit trail on table FND_PROFILE_OPTION_VALUES.
After records are inserted, updated or deleted on this table, no audit data is
generated in the shadow table FND_PROFILE_OPTION_VALUES_A.
