Symptoms
Q: How is the wildcard (%) used in the following searches:
1) Customer Name = Customer ABC%
Three records for "Customer ABC" returns:
-Customer ABC
-Customer ABC Inc
-Customer ABC Purchasing
Customer A B C is not returned.
2) Customer Name = Customer A%
This error is received:
"Unexpected SQL error encountered when performing search. Procedure HZ_MATCH_RULE_61.find_parties Error: ORA-20000: Oracle Text error: DRG-10800: query failed: DRG-51030: wildcard query expansion resulted in to many terms. Please contact the system administrator."
3) Customer Name = Customer%ABC
No records return
4) Customer Name = CustomerABC%
No records return
