Transaction Import Through Web ADI for Contingent Worker Gives PA_INVALID_EMPLOYEE Error (Doc ID 359000.1)

Symptoms

Importing labor costs via Web ADI through the Transaction Import interface.

An error message is given for contingent employees in the transaction output exceptions for transaction import:

PA_INVALID_EMPLOYEE

The person can be selected from the LOV in the Web ADI spreadsheet - but the interface will not process them.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Populate Web ADI spreadsheet
2) Upload succeeds
3) Submit Transaction Import - contingent employees fail

The Transaction Import log shows the following exception:

PA_INVALID_EMPLOYEE The employee number provided did not retrieve a matching employee.
PA_INVALID_EMPLOYEE The specified Employee is not valid
