Products not shown in Opportunities: ENI_PROD_DEN_HRCHY_PARENTS_V is empty (Doc ID 361425.1)

Symptoms

A new catalog has been created.
Now, no products are displayed in the "Add Product" screen in Oracle Sales.

Receiving error in "Product Category" column:
No data exists.

Steps to reproduce:
- Sales User Responsibility
- Sales Dashboard
- Select an Open opportunity
- Go to Products
- Click Add Product.

Also, you note that the table EGO_PROD_CAT_SALES_MARKET_AGV
only contains information about the old catalog. The new catalog is missing.

select distinct CATEGORY_SET_ID 

from EGO_PROD_CAT_SALES_MARKET_AGV;

Changes

The old catalog is not longer used. Due to new business requirements, a new catalog has been created from the scratch.
