R11:PA:How do the Project and Task Dates in the Projects HTML Interface Tie to the Dates in the Form-Based Projects Application? (Doc ID 361507.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 19, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Project Planning and Control - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Oracle Project Foundation - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

When viewing project start date and project finish date through either the Project Lists page or the Search Project page, the dates do not appear to tieback to the dates in the form based Projects application.   For example, in the form based application, the project start date might be 01-JAN-10 through project end date 31-DEC-10, but when you query up this same project in the Project List page in the HTML user interface, the dates for Project Start Date and Project Finish Date show as 01-JAN-10 through 01-JAN-10.

This document will attempt to explain these inconsistencies and describe in detail the various dates associated to projects and tasks and their functions.
