The goal of this document is to guide anyone who is interested in performing the flow from creating an internal requisition to shipping and receiving it. It is specifically aimed at those who are interested in seeing the results it has on Install Base.

In this case, the system is set up to use In Transit in the shipping network - meaning there is time between shipping the ordered items and actually receiving them.

It is assumed Install Base has been set up correctly, the item is not under serial control and is Install Base trackable.

The example data used in the scenario below is based on a standard Vision Database. The use of actual organization names and specific order numbers is intended to make the process as clear as possible.
