When Tasks are created against Service Requests in the Customer Support (11i) or Service (R12) responsibility, the task_id and task_number are not the same.
At one point the task_id and task_number were the same values but somehow they got out of sync.
How can the task_id and task_number be fixed so that they are the same values again?
