Symptoms
On 11.5.10.2 in Production:
After integrating OID 10g with Oracle Applications, when trying to save FNDSCAUS form after changing the description or password, the following error occurs.
Unable to call fnd_ldap_wrapper.update_user due to the following reason:
OID is not registered correctly. Please contact system administrator.
(USER_NAME=<USERNAME>)
When creating a new user, the following error occurs:
Unabled to call fnd_ldap_wrapper.update_user due to the following reason:
OID is not registered correctly. Please contact system administrator.
(USER_NAME=USERNAME>)
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Integrate OID 10g using Note 233436.1 - Installing Oracle Application Server 10g with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i
2. Open FNDSCAUS form and update the description or password of a user, then save
3. The error occurs
