OATM Errors Out When Moving Intermedia Indexes (Doc ID 365466.1)

Symptoms

Sometimes OATM migration fails with errors like:

HR PER_EMPDIR_PEOPLE_N1 INDEX INTERMEDIA
ORA-29874: warning in the execution of ODCIINDEXALTER routine
ORA-29960: line 1,
DRG-10595: ALTER INDEX PER_EMPDIR_PEOPLE_N1 failed
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called

 

This could happen to any of the intermedia indexes in Oracle Application 11i :
