Symptoms

When attempting to book an order and process the ship line when repair type = 'Exchange' the following error is generated:

    Error Message: Invalid Installed Base Instance (Instance ID = <instance_id>) for party (ID = <Party_id>).

ERROR
1) Error Message: Invalid Installed Base Instance (Instance ID = <instance_id>) for party (ID = <Party_id>).
2) Second error message appears: API Programming error (CS_CHARGE_DETAILS_PVT.Update_Charge_Details): & Text




STEPS
1. Created an Instance Item (in Installed Base).
2. Created a Repair Order using Repair Type = 'Exchange' (in the Repair Order screen).
3. Received the returned item (via the Returns screen).
4. Navigated to Depot Repair Screen > Logistics Tab.
5. Placed the cursor on the second line (Ship).
6. Tick the checkbox in 'Automate order processing steps through': selected book order
7. Clicked on 'Process' button, and the first error message appears.
8. Click ok.
    The second error message appears: API Programming error (CS_CHARGE_DETAILS_PVT.Update_Charge_Details): & Text
9. Click ok.
    Note that the Status remains in an 'entered' state.
