Last updated on FEBRUARY 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Shipping Execution - Version to [Release 11.5.10]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
EXECUTABLE:WSHPSGL - Pick Selection List Generation

Checked for currency 09-SEP-2014

This note applies ONLY to release 11.5.10.   As per release 12, the default behavior was changed so that the system will ALWAYS honor the Pick From Subinventory and/or Locator specified at the time of Pick Release in Bug 4775539 (unpublished) - FP:11I10-12.0:PICK RELEASE DOES NOT HONOR THE PICK FROM SUBINVENTORY / LOCATOR. If you are running release 12.0.x or 12.1.x and you encounter similar behavior,  please log a new SR with Oracle Shipping Execution Support.

There are two stock locators defined, for example, D04B and LE04B.
The picking order for locator LE04B is set to 1 and the picking order for locator D04B is set to 9.  Both locators have sufficient and available stock.
When the pick release concurrent process is executed, it is picking from locator D04B instead of locator LE04B.
