Symptoms
For some users while trying to access any function that launches a form from any Framework Responsibility (i.e. SSWA) is erroring out with:
ERROR
Error : APP-FND-01516 : Invalid Application user name ,password or database
Username Applsyspub
Database <DataBase SID>
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Login to Oracle Applications with a particular user :
2.Select Any Responsibility from SSWA and try to launch any Forms based function.
This issue also occurs after application of Localization Patch for any of the mentioned country e.g. India Localization Patch.
