Inventory Interface Fails with WARNING:Inventory Going Negative. Transaction not completed for Trans_ID Even Though Setup to Allow Negative Inventory (Doc ID 372036.1)

Symptoms

In Release 11.5.10 the Inventory Interface part of Trip Stop is failing when the shipping Organization is Process Enabled.

The Process Manufacturing (OPM) transaction is thus not completed, and the Order Management Sales Order Line is left in a status of 'Shipped'. 

When the interface trip stop log is checked, the following type of error is present for the transaction:

Profile GMI: Allow Negative Inventory = 2
WARNING:Inventory going negative. Transaction not completed for Trans ID 274734
