EXECUTABLE:RUNGEN - Payroll Process
Symptoms
When submitting a quick pay or a payroll run, the process completes in error.
Navigate to submit process and reports and drill down to the log the error is as follows:

APP-PAY-51118: Error was encountered when processing assignment XXXX
HR_51119_HRPROC_ERR_OCC_ON_ET
ETNAME US_TAX_VERTEX
Invalid jurisdiction code found in resident location
Navigate to View > Payroll Process > select the payroll > select run > click on the assignment button > query in the Status field for Error. This will show the employee who is in error and click on messages.
The message indicates:
Error was encountered when processing assignment xxxx
Error was encountered when processing Element Type US_TAX_VERTEX
Invalid jurisdiction code found in resident location.
