How to create custom employee numbering per User Person Type ?

Example :

* two person types
   o Staff
   o Officer

* Need to give two different numbering schemes for each person type.
   eg Ordinary Staff will use a seq begin 4xxxxxxx whereas Officer (other user type) will use a sequence beginning 7xxxxxxx

* Expect the database item named PTU_PER_PERSON_TYPE to be available when attempting to Implement Custom Employee Number Generation.
  Unfortunately after querying FastFormula EMP_NUMBER_GENERATION, then trying to find the User_person_type by clicking on show Database Item and searching 'PTU_PER_PERSON_TYPE' , this database item is not found.
