Goal

1.0 Introduction

This document is intended to provide information about how a customer would customized their installed translations within their EBS MLS environment. This document describes how to translate forms/reports, database tables, and seed data. Currently only languages that have an Oracle defined language code can be translated. So if a customer did not install Oracle provided translations, they can still have a translated UI by providing the translations themselves. The problem that they will encounter if they do not use the Oracle provided translations is during an upgrade or application of a patch. Oracle will see that the language is enabled and will try to apply the NLS patch, this may overwrite the customized translations. The follow steps have only been tested on a fully translated application. Translating an entire application with these methods has not been tested.
