Currency Precision Change Not Reflected in GL Forms (Doc ID 376170.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle General Ledger (GL) when currency precision changes are made (Setup: Currencies: Define), they are not reflected in other GL forms such as the journals enter form (journals:enter). For example:

Currency = JPY
Precision = 2
Amount = 5000
Amount Displayed on GL Forms = 5000.00
-This is correct in showing two decimal places

* A change in precision is then made from "2" to "0"

Currency = JPY
Precision = 0
Amount = 5000
Amount Displayed on GL Forms = 5000.00
-This is incorrect in showing two decimal places, the expectation is zero decimal places
