Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) Migration from 11i to Release 12.1 and Higher (Doc ID 376683.1)

Purpose

This note contains instructions for migrating OPM from Release 11.5.10.2 to Release 12.1 and higher.

We no longer support migrating from 11.5.9 to 12; you must first upgrade to 11.5.10.2 and then to 12.1 or 12.2.

Please Note: If you are starting a new migration, you should migrate to 12.2, not 12.1. If you have already started working on migration to 12.1 and do not want to switch over to 12.2, please make sure to apply the latest EBS Recommended Patch Collection, RPC4, patch 21236633, or at least the OPM Recommended Patch Collection (RPC), Patch 20363553: R12.OPM_PF.B.delta.6, immediately after migration to get to the current patch level of 12.1.3. If you just go to the base release of 12.1.3 you will be on code that is more than five years old, you will run into bugs that have already been fixed, and you will find patching much more difficult than if you apply the RPC. We strongly recommend that you do this before going live on 12.1.3.
