How to Create an Overridable Modifier that can be used on a Top Level Service Line in Service Contracts
(Doc ID 377439.1)
Last updated on JULY 14, 2020
Applies to:
Oracle Service Contracts - Version 11.5.9 to 11.5.10 [Release 11.5]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
An Overridable Modifier has been defined but is not available for selection and cannot be applied to a top level Service line in Service Contracts.
Technically, this is not allowed as is documented in <Note 339860.1> "Cannot Apply Pricing Modifier To a Top Level Service Line". However, the steps below will allow you to simulate an overridable Modifier, without actually using one.
