Goal

Question 1: Several concurrent programs are displaying APPS password in the log file.
These programs are all host programs that have the below line in the shell script file.

What is needed to do at the the database or operating system so that the password is NOT displayed or available?

Question 2: It seems that the encryption does not allow the password to be passed to any sql logins in the script. How can this be allowed?
