Unable To Reverse Terminate Employee Due To Future Person Type Changes. APP-PAY-07122: Future person changes exist. You cannot cancel the termination and APP-PAY-06200: This operation is not allowed You cannot remove an assignment that has been terminated (Doc ID 388605.1)

Symptoms

Scenario 1:


When attempting to reverse terminate, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------

APP-PAY-7122: Future person changes exist. You cannot cancel the termination.

Cause: You are trying to cancel a termination when there are future person type changes.

Action: You must undo all person type changes that exist after the termination date before you can cancel the termination from this form.



Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Any seeded HRMS Responsibility > Enter & Maintain > Query Employee

2. Click Others > End Employment > Reverse Termination > OK > Error

 

Scenario 2:

 

Employee is terminated and later was rehired.

Now user wants to reverse terminate the employee.  Upon doing so, user will get the following error:

 

"APP-PAY-07122: Future person changes exist. You cannot cancel the termination.

Cause: You are trying to cancel a termination when there are future person type changes.

Action: You must undo all person type changes that exist after the termination date before you can cancel the termination from this form."

 

If user then tries to remove all future changes, the following error occurs:

"APP-PAY-06200: This operation is not allowed
You cannot remove an assignment that has been terminated by the termination of the Period of Service."
