Able to End Date Or Purge an Element Entry Even After Processing in Payroll

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Find that an Element Entry on an Employee's Assignment can be End-dated even after the payroll has been processed

Steps to Reproduce:

Login to HRMS Manager

Navigate:

  1. People
  2. Assignment
  3. Date Track to previous pay period (which has already been processed)
  4. Highlight Element
  5. Click on Delete button
  6. Save Record.

Element is now end dated to the date that was date tracked to and even though there are other payrolls that have been processed since the date that was date tracked to - that element is now end dated and no longer available after that date.

Scenario:

For an Employee, entered a Recurring Element 'Test Abc'

Ran a Quick Pay for the Assignment


Find that the Element is Processed in the Quick Pay.

Return to the Element Entry screen

Delete the Element.

Select End Date 28-SEP-XXXX

Find the Element 'Test Abc' End Dated

Changes
