On 11.5.10 in Production:
Find that a Promotional Modifier that is supposed to get applied at Shipment, does not get applied
when the Line is split due to partial shipment. This works when full shipment is made. The
apparent reason is, when a partial shipment is made, the line gets split and the split lines have
the Calculate Price Flag set to Partial. With the Calculate Price Flag as anything other than
Calculate, will prevent application of a Modifier. Since the Split happens at runtime during Ship
Confirm process, it is not possible to change the Calculate Price Flag, before Pricing Engine
Expect that there is someway to set the Calculate Price Flag to Calculate to have the Promotional
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Promotional Modifier that will apply at Shipment.
2. Create Sales Order for more than 1 unit.
3. Make a partial Shipment and see if the modifier gets applied at Ship Confirm - it will not,
because the split lines have the Calculate price Flag as Partial.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot get the Modifier applied when the Shipment is done for partial
quantity instead of full quantity.
