Symptoms
On 11.5.10.2 in Production:
The observed execution time when running Bulk Load Price List Open
Interfaces is unacceptable. When attempting to create 40,000 price list
lines the program does not complete after 3 hours. Testing of 5,000
list lines completes after 1 hour.
Requirement is to create over 160,000 price list lines.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect Bulk Load Price List Open Interface performance to be significantly
improved.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Populate the open interface tables (
QP_INTERFACE_LIST_HEADERS,and
QP_INTERFACE_PRICING_ATTRIBS)
2. Submit the standard concurrent program (QP: Bulk Import of Price List).
BUSINESS IMPACT
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users are unable to efficiently do price list conversions.
This is potentially impacting UAT completion and go-live.
