Symptoms

On 11.5.10.2 in Production:
When attempting to Apply <Patch 3500000>
the following error occurs.

ERROR
Creating temporary archive file
/hrtrn/oracle/hrtrnappl/admin/HRTRN/out/p001ldjva.jar
using input file
/hrtrn/oracle/hrtrnappl/per/11.5.0/java/jar/perkpiclient.jar
to load into database with arguments:

-ms128m -mx256m oracle.apps.ad.jri.admetarm -inputFile /hrtrn/oracle/hrtrnappl/per/11.5.0/java/jar/perkpiclient.jar -outputFile /hrtrn/oracle/hrtrnappl/admin/HRTRN/out/p001ldjva.jar


Temporarily resetting CLASSPATH to:
"/hrtrn/oracle/hrtrnappl/ad/11.5.0/java/adjri.zip:/usr/java14/lib/tools.jar:/usr/java14/lib/dt.jar:/usr/java14/jre/lib/charsets.jar:/usr/java14/jre/lib/rt.jar:/hrtrn/oracle/hrtrncomn/java/appsborg2.zip:/hrtrn/oracle/hrtrnora/8.0.6/forms60/java:/hrtrn/oracle/hrtrncomn/java"

Calling /usr/java14/jre/bin/java ...
All processing successful; exiting with status 0


Loading contents of archive file into database with arguments

-ms128m -mx256m oracle.aurora.server.tools.loadjava.LoadJavaMain -f -thin -user "APPS/*****@hboadevdb:1522:HRTRN" /hrtrn/oracle/hrtrnappl/admin/HRTRN/out/p001ldjva.jar -resolve
