Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:
After applying <Patch 4676589> 11i.ATG_PF.H.RUP4, according to <Note 365228.1>, when attempting to change the password for a user that does not have a valid password (due to either expiration or first log in after password reset), the following error occurs:

ERROR
You must enter your current password correctly in order to change your password. Password change cancelled.

JServ.log shows the following:

EXCEPTION:[fnd.sso.html.AppsChangePassword.jsp]:Exception Occurred You must enter your
    current password correctly in order to change your password.  Password change
    cancelled.java.lang.RuntimeException: You must enter your current password correctly in order to
    change your password.  Password change cancelled.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Reset or expire user's password
2. User attempts log in and is asked to change the password
3. In the AppsChangePassword screen, the log in credentials are not recognized

-- Business Impact:
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot change their invalid passwords.

Changes

Followed <Note 365228.1> to apply <Patch 4676589> 11i.ATG_PF.H.RUP4.
