Symptoms
-- Problem Statement:
After applying <Patch 4676589> 11i.ATG_PF.H.RUP4, according to <Note 365228.1>, when attempting to change the password for a user that does not have a valid password (due to either expiration or first log in after password reset), the following error occurs:
ERROR
You must enter your current password correctly in order to change your password. Password change cancelled.
JServ.log shows the following:
EXCEPTION:[fnd.sso.html.AppsChangePassword.jsp]:Exception Occurred You must enter your current password correctly in order to change your password. The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Reset or expire user's password
2. User attempts log in and is asked to change the password
3. In the AppsChangePassword screen, the log in credentials are not recognized

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot change their invalid passwords.

Followed <Note 365228.1> to apply <Patch 4676589> 11i.ATG_PF.H.RUP4.
