Symptoms


When adding and saving new employee using PERWSHRG form

or

When entering new employees using HR_EMPLOYEE_API.CREATE_US_EMPLOYEE API

or

When trying to create a new employee using Purchasing responsibility in a Shared installation using PERSWEMP form

or

When attempting to save a location using PERWSLOC form

the following error occurs:

FRM-40735 On-Insert trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-29861

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
--------------------------
Global HR Administrator -> Enter People form (PERWSHRG) -> Enter employee information -> Save
or
Run HR_EMPLOYEE_API.CREATE_US_EMPLOYEE API
or
Purchasing > Setup > Personnel > Employees (PERSWEMP) -> Enter some information -> Save
or
US Super HRMS Manager>Work Structures>Location (PERWSLOC) -> Select Global -> Enter Location -> Save
