FORM:OKEDTSFM.FMB - Deliverables Tracking System
Symptoms
In cases where ‘Initiate Shipping’ action has been used inadvertently on a contract deliverable, there is no provision to prevent shipping of the contract deliverable from Oracle Shipping Execution. This could lead to contract deliverables being shipped to customers ahead of the committed delivery times and may not be acceptable to customers.
Background
Deliverable Tracking System (DTS) of Oracle Project Contracts is used to manage various contract deliverables. When a contract deliverable is ready to be shipped, “Initiate Shipping” action in DTS is used to pass on the delivery information to Oracle Shipping Execution. Based on this delivery information, contract deliverable will be shipped to contract customers from Oracle Shipping Execution.
