Oracle Shipping Delivery Based - Version: 184.108.40.206 to 220.127.116.11
Based on the following process performed by the customer , there are a number of questions that have developed , with regards to Pick Slip -
During Pick Release with AutoPick Confirm = NO and Autocreate = Yes, a manual generation of the Pick Slip from Submit Request occurs. The system gives a Pick Slip Number.
The Sales Order Line now goes to Transact Move Order.
The line is then manually back ordered. When the onhand quantity is sufficient, the sales order line is released again with AutoPick Confirm = NO and Autocreate = Yes, generating again the Pick Slip from Submit Request.
Thus, the same order was pick released twice.
1. Will the system generate a new pick slip number or the system will use the old pick slip number?
2. Is the series global to all warehouses? Meaning 1 sequence is used by all Inventory warehouses?
3. When system gives a new pick slip number after releasing a back order, what happens to the old Pick Slip Number?
4. If I generate a pick slip from the submit request, will the system generate both the old and the new pick slip?
