Goal

The purpose of this document is to provide a list of conditions to check when an item exists in the MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B (MSIB) table, but cannot be queried in the Master Items Form and/or the Organization Items Form (INVIDITM.fmb).

The following error occurs in the Master Items or Organization Items Form (INVIDITM.fmb):
FRM-40350 Query caused no records to be retrieved.

How to create a Forms Runtime Diagnostics (FRD) Trace to further diagnose the issue.

A FRD trace can be used to identify in detail the errors that are occurring in the form. Refer to the following documents to assist with creating a FRD Trace:

Goal
 The purpose of this document is to provide a list of conditions to check when an item exists in the MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B (MSIB) table, but cannot be queried in the Master Items Form and/or the Organization Items Form (INVIDITM.fmb).
 How to create a Forms Runtime Diagnostics (FRD) Trace to further diagnose the issue.
Solution
 1) Confirm there are no custom triggers on MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B.
 2) An item cannot be queried in the Master Items Form, if any of the following are true:
 3) An item cannot be queried in the Master Items form if the corresponding MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_TL row does not exist for all organization / item / language combinations:
 4) 11.5.10 and higher requires that the WEIGHT_UOM_CODE and VOLUME_UOM_CODE be populated if corresponding UNIT_WEIGHT and UNIT_VOLUME fields are populated.
 5) An item cannot be queried in the Master Items form when the column SERV_REQ_ENABLED_CODE is not populated with following one of the vaild codes:
 6) Recovered Part Disposition:
 7) Identify if there are any Items with rows in MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B or MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_TL table that have any trailing or leading spaces in one or more columns.
 8) This issue will present if an Item has base model populated with an item that is not assigned to the same organization.
 9) If on Product version 11i, verify if a folder is being used for the Items form (INVIDITM.fmb), and remove.
 10) If in a test instance, create a new item using the "Copy From Item" functionality where the erroring item is used as the source item.
