Requisition Access, Security and Other Control Setting Not Working From Document Types (Doc ID 415015.1)

Symptoms

On 11.5.10.2 , Application is allowing the approver to access the document and make modification to it even though Document Type settings for Access, Security, and other Control settings are set to preclude this.

Document Type is set with the following attributes for Purchase Requisiton.

Security Level: Private 
Access Level: View Only 
Forward Method: Hierarchy

Owner Can Approve (Unchecked)
Approver Can Modify (Unchecked)
Can Change Forward-To (Checked)
Can Change Forward-From (Unchecked)
Can Change Approval Hierarchy (Unchecked)
Disable (Unchecked)
Use Contract Agreements for Auto Sourcing (Unchecked)


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
With the above setting for Document Types, the system should NOT allow the Approver to access the
requisition and do modifications.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Document Type Setup for Purchase Requisition:
Security Level: Private 
Access Level: View Only 
Forward Method: Hierarchy

Owner Can Approve (Unchecked)
Approver Can Modify (Unchecked)
Can Change Forward-To (Checked)
Can Change Forward-From (Unchecked)
Can Change Approval Hierarchy (Unchecked)
Disable (Unchecked)
Use Contract Agreements for Auto Sourcing (Unchecked)

1. A requestor raises a purchase requisition in iProcurement
2. A notification is sent to the Approver
3. The Approver rejects the requisition
4. Any Approver locates that requisition under “My Group’s Requisition”
5. The Approver modifies the requisition
6. The requisition is then resubmitted for approval
