Service Request: Error When Retrieving an Item Instance From the Search Instance Grid (Doc ID 415095.1)

When creating a new Service Request, you select a Customer and then invoke the Search Item Instance form, either with the Flashlight or from the Tools menu.

All the results for that Customer are shown, but after selecting an Item Instance from the grid, you get an error.
You are able to return to the Create Service Request form without the Item Instance selected, or the form could be automatically closed.

  ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error.

- The Instance is correctly listed in the LOV as well.
- You experience the same problem with all Customer(s) and/or Instance(s)
