FNDRSRUN - Developer Mode Error When Opening The Requests Form (Doc ID 415165.1)

Symptoms

When opening the Submit Request form an error is encountered.

Navigation Path: from any forms responsibility, menu Edit --> View Requests

Developer Mode Error:
An Oracle Applications Coding Standards violation was encountered.
Please report this problem to Oracle Support.
fdfffu.lc->register_form_flex() function detected a flexfield attached to a form field whose length is less than the maximum concat value length : 700
Please change the length of the field

Block : JOB_DETAIL
Field : ARGUMENTS
Length : 240


Once clicked on OK, the Submit request form will open up as usual however it is not possible to submit a new request. Attempting to Submit a New Request (Single) e.g. the 'Prints environment variable values' will throw the following error when attempting to open the Parameters window:



APP-FND-00706: Routine FDFAVS3: : Detected a data error.


The details of this error are the following:

APP-FND-00706: Routine FDFAVS3: : Detected a data error.

APP-FND-01028: The value set field for the segment V_ETC_OPTION cannot be left blank since the underlying application table column is of a column type other than Character.


Due to these messages it is not possible to submit any new request.
