EXECUTABLE:RGRARG - Financial Statement Generator

Previously, Financial Statement Generator Report (FSG) using XML publisher produced reports that only include the formatted numbers as strings for display on the XML output. This prevented users from performing mathematical operations directly on such output. With this enhancement, now the FSG XML output will not only provide the formatted numeric string, but will also associate with this an attribute that bears its original raw numeric value, bearing six places after the decimal point. This will allow users to publish XML output to Excel and perform calculations on the numbers readily. This change is transparent to the user, and simply makes the raw number information available when it is required for doing calculations.

Specifically, the following elements of the FSG definition are ignored for the purpose of deriving this raw numeric value:

* Format mask
* Display Zero option
* Factor

The following are taken into consideration when calculating raw numbers:

* Percent of row/column option
* Change sign option

The user does not need to take any action to enable this enhancement and the raw number information is automatically available in the XML output. This sample XML publisher template supports the new XML output with the raw number storage.

For R12, the template "FSGXML: Basic Excel Template (Raw Amounts)" can be used.
