Symptoms
The "Rollup Cumulative Lead Times GUI" ends with the following error.
The error indicates an item has a loop in the Bills of Material (BOM).
Performing a BOM Loop check returns no loop.
ERROR
APP-BOM-20708: This bill of material contains a loop
Cause: This bill of material contains the following loop: Item 1-->Item 2-->Item 1
Action: Disable the component that references a parent item.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Goto Bills of Material (BOM) > Reports > BOM
2. Run Calculate lead times
4. Run Rollup Cumulative Lead Times
5. The error occurs.
BUSINESS IMPACT
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, cannot calculate lead times leading to inaccurate scheduling.
