Goal

Question 1.

We have a Product which contains only one Ingredient, and the ratio between the two Items is 1-to-1, ie for Product Output of 300, Ingredient Input is also 300. After running Actual Costing for the current Period we can see that a Cost has been calculated for the Ingredient Item in a given Cost Component Class. However when we look at the Actual Cost Transactions View for the Product, we see a much smaller value being used in calculating the Product's value in that same Component Class. Why is the Ingredient Cost not being used in its entirety?

Question 2.

What are the recommended Profile Options that can be adjusted for an acceptable compromise between performance and accuracy?
